El B-17 es un bombardero pesado estadunidense utilizado durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial. El avi&oacute;n fue dise&ntilde;ado por la compa&ntilde;&iacute;a Boeing Aircraft en respuesta a una especificaci&oacute;n del Cuerpo A&eacute;reo del Ej&eacute;rcito de 1934 que ped&iacute;a un bombardero con cuatro motores, en una &eacute;poca en la que los dos motores eran la norma.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">El avi&oacute;n realiz&oacute; su &uacute;ltimo vuelo en noviembre de 1944 con destino a Viena, antes de sufrir demasiados da&ntilde;os y tener que aterrizar de emergencia en el mar Adri&aacute;tico, a unos 50 kil&oacute;metros de la costa croata. el agua le est&aacute; cobrando factura, pues aunque su punta est&aacute; aplastada, la cabina del piloto es visible ya que el parabrisas est&aacute; completamente destrozado.</span></p> <p><iframe allow="accelerometer; Sus motores y alas est&aacute;n cubiertos de algas y crust&aacute;ceos muertos.</span></p>
